Now from showreels ive been looking at they all want to make me cry...
BUT i know its just due to experience... so im happy with putting what im proud of ont oa 60-90 second showreel... but the music who knows...
ill render out the video file and link music too it not that its important considering most people mute it so they can look at the art more than the sound that goes with it... but i still think for youtube people would get bored without music... so here goes....
Firstly... all showreels sort of have the company at the beginning explaing what the video is going to be... so if the title doesnt do that ive been working on a little thing with my logo... and a ramp layer in the background i will post pictures and talk about...
10 second intro...
same with the end slate
but at the end the only difference is as the logo slides in from the left the particles change direction... and move differently to the beginning as www.antwonkmedia.com and anthonyjohnturner@gmail.com slowly opacity wipe in... and stay on for 5 seconds for readability...
NOW INBETWEEN THEM SLIDES theres multiple passes of work i have on show obviously you have the file to hand... yet i cant print screen on my computer dont know why... if i could i would print screen the multiple layers built up of about 14 clips of animation/art/keyframed etc... all work im proud to show off...
so i shall link my showreel here for you to view... and then talk about the music...
So as you can see its quite advanced... in the way i put clips together i didnt just plot them in...
actually i did... i panicked but it worked out quite well i tried to put a mixture of good and okay work together so its not like a constant downhill battle... but i think it shows progression...
now for the music i had spotify up listening to current songs... while playing it and it just didnt work... because i tried to evoke emotion and make it all flow...
then i had my 90's playlist open... and enya came on... and i was SOLD
so thats my music thats my project... and that is me DONE!
i really really enjoyed this module it was challenging but rewarding... cant argue.
