So my background is a graphical background with abit of coding from college where along side artsy subjects i did graphics art photography film studies and computing... although my computing background gave me understanding to syntax... but still its amateur compared to my knowledge of html... i know its easier ways to understand but its just boring to learn unless you have need to do it full time as well a website designer.
I understand things quite well and can pick up on things and i have a background in dreamweaver so when we had the lesson on editing in dreamweaver i felt quite confident but was still abit confused because its all easy designing something but then you have to uplaod it via ftp or upload direct its just a confusing process when you've got other things that take priority like animation or final year project....
I started to look around at templates to edit... so i was looking all over for simple ones where it kept to the same aspect ratio...
what i mean by this is i hate websites where theres scroll bars on the right and on the bottom I REALLY DESPISE the functionality of them websites...
i like the design websites where there is a main page then a mini page inside that page that keeps the page conformed to that size..
So the search begins...

Been a busy boy...
So.... where to start we had a presentation sort of thing... where we shown some of our previous work and sort of an idea of what we wanted to continue onto... my mind went blank i had some work but i really pushed myself this year and went away from visual effects and wanted to challenge myself with learning prosthetic makeup so i could use in films i work on... or adverts... so i could add vfx ontop of that and then really sell the shots im after producing.
Its quite a complex process because normally for this you would have somebody who can already do all that, then id be focused on the vfx of the shots while a director would be directing a camera man etc etc etc...
but for uni im the lacky boy.. the runner... the office bitch... the production staff.. the camera man... the director... and the post production guy... only thing i hate about this... im not so great behind a camera in terms of background as i hate the big cameras... i was trained on dslr's i just think they have more range in colour and motion.
Anyway i shown work i was proud off and its minimal as i dont really think ive produced work im proud to show off.. but as danny said we could sit down and look through all footage and find good parts of bad clips... atleast then you have a range in your showreel.. i didnt like this idea id prefer to set to work and make something im proud off.. but for the purpose of this module i piped down and did what i was told *insert whip noise*

Distrubution Methods
Okay so its a week late but i thought i should get going with this module... before my other modules take priority :(
Im excited about this module but it worries me that were only just starting to get involved with an online portfolio or networking because well... its our final module of our final year... i wish this was implemented during 2nd semester of 2nd year so we had over the summer to learn things to continue it on for the 3rd year.
But... thats just my judgement..
This lesson has taught me to get all my emails going to one email and close off pre existing emails so im not confused and obviously its more professional.
So i set up a new email for potential work to come through as Anthonyjohnturner@gmail.com
Obviously i cant use my university email address as it will close after graduation and i didnt want to use a hotmail email address because its not professional especially when your hotmail email is dikwod@hotmail.com... yeh not really something i want to portray :(
I bought a domain in my first year assuming id already be at this point already thats www.antwonkmedia.com so in the future id quite like the idea of getting Anthony@antwonkmedia.com
the people where i work at sheffield parties have a cheeseonbread production company and they have like mensa@cheeseonbread.com etc... so it just looks more professional.
