Website as it stands...

Whats that you want more pictures okay... let me show you a detailed version of my website to plan... as i have it in my head and on paper....

Spent alot of time away from the blog recently to work more on it rather than continue giving you snippets of images and bore you...

so ill start from page to page...


HOME PAGE - IMPORTANT...

So this is my HOME PAGE it comes as you seee nice graphical image in the background with my logo embedded into it showing the mystic orb...

I wanted it to be professional a nice greeting to my website... has a nice border around the image so it looks like a picture has been gently placed onto the table.. LOGO top left... IMPORTANT that stays on every page... COPYWRIGHT bottom middle to show my email address what i do and when it was made... with my CAMERA KNOWLEDGE and SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE within the picture on a text layer... overlaying onto of the image so i can change is as i become more advanced with technology as i want to try and learn nuke along with using more cameras like a Canon 7D and 5D MK II, III just some of the things id like...

Also have my WIDGETS bottom right on every page so you can click them... ive made it so when you click them it opens it up in a new page keeping all focus on my website...


THEN YOU HAVE THE RESUME PAGE...

Same again... logo top left... etc whats on this page is a picture im proud to show off showing my prosthetic work... with a scrollable box so you can read my CV/RESUME online... :)

same again it shows you which page your on by the black textbox... hovering over the page title while changing the text from black to white with a nice glossy embossed textbox...


THEN YOU HAVE CURRENT WORK THAT IM WORKING ON...

Same again... logo top left... etc what i wanted on this page was a scrollable box so it kept to the theme... which tells you about what im working on how i learnt it etc...

with a slideable left too right... picture slider... showing stuff... ALSO if you click on the picture it brings up a lightbox function that i had to install onto the flash builder for it to work how i wanted it...

I also wanted it too look professional with a reflection pass so it looks 3D like them sky adverts...


FINALLY YOU HAVE MY VIDEO PAGE...

SAME AGAIN recurrent theme... logo top left...

video work in a scrollable box...  displaying stuff im proud off with stuff to work on aswell... so this page is the only page im not sure on as i dont like the look of the video player... :(

but its un customisable within wix.com... so this is what im stuck with for now...

on the bottom left underneath the scrollable box... it has links of videos i want the public to see so you can slide through them the one you hover over turns grey with white text... as you can see its on '2012 Olympic Rings' and as you can see that video is displaying on the video player...

Html updater?

so the website builder i used www.wix.com had just over looked the HTML5 mode onto the wix websites... now at this point i was really into my website and building really good assets and playing around with different compositions... and working well in alot of different ways... so i wanted to really continue with this...

Then WIX updated even further and created a flash to html5 change over... so i applied for it through the website and because my website functioned quite well they said alot of the assets wouldnt be able to transfer over... NOW this pissed me off alot! because i spent so much time into making this function... i really want to use this website as a website after uni and tweak it over to html5 slowly when i know ive got a good website... theres no point putting up a naff website or it wont make it anywhere would it.... i wouldnt get work to pay me to pay to keep up a website...

that was my logic anyway...

so i thought 'NO, the html5 conversion is still abit buggy and doesnt have anywhere near the customisable nature of the flash side...' I spoke to Anne about this as i didnt want to be downgraded or anything... because im using flash she then replied aslong as i show progression to want to change it to html5 i would be fine so that will go into my word document.

SO... i pushed on further...

and created my trademark LOGO... now with photoshop being my backgrounded i wanted to push in that nature... so here is my logo...

This is the logo i will use on my website and use on buisness cards etc... Ive always had the name Antwonk as an online allias so i cant really complain.... stuck with what i know closed some accounts so when you google me its all professional...


Spent alot of hours in photoshop doing different compositions and this to me was the best one... i liked how i could use the O in Antwonk as a sort of Aperture in a camera.. showing my creative side and keeping MEDIA as i mean buisness nice font with a subtle drop shadow...

So.... i put 4 widgets on my website i really wanted to put a 5th 'youtube' as thats what plays through my videos...

so the facebook link will send you to this page...

Which is my personal account on facebook if people wanted to get in touch with me directly... thats where they could if there not able to email me... for quick help or work...

I wanted to privatise my account because well lets face it i dont want people seeing me moan on my statuses about things im doing through out my day... After uni i will either set up a private like page for ANTWONK MEDIA or keep my statuses down to a professional nature...

As you'd want it goes to my twitter lets people see my tweets follow me... etc... you know how twitter works... so yeh enjoy :)



MY VIMEO link sends you to my vimeo... not alot is on there... but still need to upload videos on there for this purpose as it doesnt codec your video so much as youtube does... so it can keep majority of its integrity from the render...

so as you can see not alot on there... but has a nice detailed description about me... so yeh thats my vimeo...


FINALLY I HAVE LINKEDIN

Does what it says on the TIN... i found it quite hard to use linkedin... was very complex and it forced you to fully set up at first rather than look at other peoples profiles that you aspire to be like... and work towards doing something like that...


Anyway that shows all 4 links that ive got... but my youtube has alot more videos on it... that i had to use through the video player on the website to play...
